Liverpool to bone marrow
Robert Paisley was a member of the coaching staff of Bill Shankly, in which Liverpool first returned to the top division in the 1960s, then entered the European arena for the first time, and finally, in 1973, won its first European trophy – the UEFA Cup.
Unlike Shankly, Bob Paisley’s entire football career went to Liverpool — he joined the club in 1939, but the debut mainly took place after a few years — the Second World War began, which Paisley ended in Italy. Continue reading
